Dr. Johnson is a researcher, coach, and professional educator with over 30 years experience working with a wide variety of clients in developing the “positive mind.” As a leader in professional staff development, he has developed and presented leading edge programs for schools, universities, individuals and businesses, relating the findings of neuroscience, positive psychology, and effective coaching practices for a wide audience.

Dr. Johnson continues and expands this work with the Applied Neuroscience Institute. In his role as professional educator, seasoned coach and mentor, and researcher, he facilitates both the Certificate and Licensure level credential programs. Educated at Fairfield University, Yale University, Harvard Divinity School, and Seton Hall University, he has recently completed additional studies with Dr. Alex Linley and Dr. Christopher Peterson in the latest research and applications of positive psychology. He is a professional associate of the International Coach Federation. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to education, Dr. Johnson is listed in “Who’s Who in the East.”
