“NeuroPositivity” is what results when you increase the growth and stimulation of neuropathways in the brain that control positivity. We can liken it to a positive state of mind, but it really goes even further. It is a “positive state of being.”

The rationale for “NeuroPositivity” is simple: to increase your experience of personal well-being by increasing the positivity of your brain at a neuronal level.

What Is A NeuroPositive Life Coach?


It means that you are working on changing the negative neuropathways in the brain into positive ones by some very, very simple interventions into the lives of the people with whom you work. It means that you see miracles, little miracles, then bigger and bigger ones, as people realize that they can live in an UpSpiral of their own goodness rather than trudging around in their own negativity. Coaching is way beyond therapy and counseling. Most people don’t need therapy or counseling any way; it’s too grueling and focuses way too much on the negative. If you need to  do that, then do it. But if you need to move ahead  with something else that doesn’t see you as sick or neurotic, then go to a Coach and not to a therapist.

Your brain is "overly wired" in a negative way to protect you from dangers that most of the time never exist. It is the way you have learned to be careful, cautious, and fearful. For part of your life, you need this kind of caution. But over the course of an entire lifetime, it is a sure guarantee that you will live a safe, ordinary, humdrum, boring life that will eventually get you addicted to food, shopping, sex, or whatever other escape seems to work-an escape from the fear of not experiencing enough positivity to be able to take risks and to believe in yourself. The lean in your brain toward the negative is far too great, and that lean needs a correction to enable you to be "neuropositive" enough to be able to believe more deeply in yourself, access what is good, and put it to dynamic use in our lives.

This is all about rewiring your brain without needing to have a DSM IV diagnosis (a mental illness label assigned in counseling or therapy) and having it follow you around for most or all of your life. The positive neuropathways in your brain can grow so you can be happy, more productive, and more creative in your life. Yes, you can learn to experience a lasting sense of life satisfaction and well-being. And it's not all that difficult. But it does take guidance along with someone who can bring the best out in you. That's what Professional NeuroPositive Life Coaches do, and do very well.

 As a Professional NeuroPositive coach, you don’t assume that people know what they want. Most often they don’t. They have ideas of what they think they want, that when they achieve those goals, gives them little pleasure or satisfaction. There is a whole process that needs to happen before people can really clarify their goals. What exactly is that process?

People need to learn how to live in an UpSpiral. We teach you to live in an UpSpiral, so you can teach others. Very, very little has to get you down unless you are addicted to drama to make your life exciting.

Then you need to be tested, scientifically, so you know what your strengths are. You will find that you have 10 major strengths and we usually only know one or two of them. Once you know, you have to learn both when you use your strengths and when you do not. For sure, when you are in a DownSpiral, you not only forget to use your strengths, but you use the opposite of your strengths. You have spent a lifetime learning to use the opposite of your strengths. 

A strength is one end of the same stick. The other end is your weakness. For every strength you have, there is a corresponding weakness. Many people learn to use their weaknesses rather than their strengths. NeuroPositive Coaching changes that around. If you don’t use the strength end, you use the “default” end. Why? Because focusing on the opposite of your strengths, using them backwards, is something you have been doing since you first tried to get around what the world told you that you had to do.
