Resilience and bouncing back are all about what you decide to make of any negative situation, including trauma, and what you’re going to do with it. The faster you move on to a positive emotion, the better off you are. Everything is about focus. Focus on the problem and the hurt and you get more of it. Focus on the what is good, who you love, someone else’s good health that you care about, blues skies and friends and you get more of what you’re focused on. As you do this, you are always building new neuropathways in the brain, stronger ones, that when you think from them, whatever pain and difficulty you’ve experienced is much more rapidly made whole.
You have great resilience and a lot of “bounce”.
