Dr. Larkin and Dr. Johnson, I wish to acknowledge you for presenting and facilitating this wonderful experience. In addition to this class I have found that my experience with each of you in our other encounters has been truly valuable. Not always the most comfortable, but valuable. These past months and 20 weeks have provided some very strong momentum in my expression and I am confident that this will continue for the rest of my life here. My original struggle was to see where this work would fit into the “spiritual” aspect of my life, my work and my passion. Certainly I have found that there is an easy correlation to this work, the work of others that I still hold dear and the opening of Science of Mind at the top. The real fun has been in the implementation of things like the Emotional Gym, the strengths finder 2 and the VIA Talents, not only in my daily practice but also in the practice of those I serve and work with. I was very attracted to the Strengths and Talents portion and was one who realized these were very much who I was, however, had not put them into words or tried to use them in a most constructive manner. Today I can honestly say that I use them daily, work them into my daily approach to most activities and continue to search ways in which they benefit the work and life I live. Having the ability to bring this into the structure and operation of the Spiritual Enrichment Center demonstrates the practicality of these identifiers and how they will assist individuals and the congregation as a whole in reaching for excellence. The energy that this has infused the Center is without question and I know it will keep us moving in the UpSpiral. In addition to our Center, it has been a joy to share this around the country with my Minister colleagues and to see the positive reactions that come with this sharing. There is the additional plus that several congregants and Rev. Beverly are also taking this class. Rev. Beverly has moved by leaps and bounds in her opening to the greater possibilities and has been such a moral support for me through many situations. I am truly blessed for her growth during this period. On a final note, I have really enjoyed the experience of “clients” to lead, teach and coach along the way. Practice, practice, practice is the only way to truly learn. I know that I choose two very challenging clients and yet this is my achiever mode. I wanted to be absolutely confident that the work would support my practice of Spiritual Counseling/Coaching and match all the requirements (written and perceived) by Home Office for me to stay in good standing. I now know that it does. It was easy to integrate the material into my practice, to use it and to help others develop their strengths in the process. There is much more that could be said and I know that as you accumulate the entire class statements it will have all been covered. Again, I am sincerely grateful for this experience and look forward to a lasting and rewarding connection throughout out life adventures. Blessings of Joy and Prosperity, Rev. Michael

I have a much better understanding of what my strengths are, and have learned how to incorporate them into my day. Developing my strengths has given me the clarity and focus to determine what I want. Knowing what I am good at has contributed to the belief that I will attract the things I want in my life.
The life coach training class of the Applied Neuroscience Institute has given me a gift of renewed life with solid direction. I now have a more meaningful life, experiencing a natural progression with renewed vigor, enthusiasm for each day, and a defined personal significance and meaning.
